Prakash’s Big Family Adventure in Dubai- The City of Gold

The decision to embark on a family vacation with eleven people wasn’t made lightly. For three families spanning three generations—from spirited kids to doting grandparents—travelling together could be both a dream and a challenge.

Yet, amidst the hustle of daily life, we yearned for an adventure that would bring us closer, one that balanced laughter, relaxation, and a little bit of magic.

Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with their promise of opulence and adventure, were the unanimous choice. But organising a trip of this scale? That was uncharted territory. After scouring the internet, comparing quotes, and reading reviews, my eyes fell on a company—Thrillophilia. Their name intrigued me, their reviews reassured me, and soon enough, I was on a call with a man who would become the architect of our dream vacation: Mr. Praduman Singh.

From Conversations to Connections

Planning with Thrillophilia was a breeze. Mr. Praduman patiently listened as I described our vision—accommodation preferences, must-visit attractions, and most importantly, the challenge of satisfying eleven different personalities. He designed an experience crafted for our family, sprinkling in surprises we could have never imagined.

“Mr. Praduman is such a cooperative and friendly person,” I later recounted in my review. “He explained everything so softly and worked with us and even our kids to create an excellent package.”

And then there was Mr. Mrigendra Gupta, the one who made the logistics smooth as silk. Payments, confirmations, and updates were handled with such ease that even the occasional hiccups of coordinating across three families melted away. I still smile remembering how Mr. Mrigendra quietly surprised us with a private yacht ride for the kids—a moment that turned out to be one of the most magical parts of our trip.

A Yacht of Giggles and Gratitude

Imagine this: Eleven of us, from the youngest child to the eldest grandparent, stepping aboard a private yacht in Dubai. The kids dashed to the bow, squealing in delight as they pretended to steer the boat, while the adults leaned back with mocktails in hand, letting the stunning Dubai skyline take our breath away.

“It was an excellent, mind-blowing surprise,” I wrote afterwards, my heart full of gratitude. “All of us were so happy with this ride.”

For those few hours, life felt suspended in perfection. The sea breeze carried our laughter as the kids turned the deck into their playground, and we adults marvelled at how such a moment could be gifted to us.

Adventures on the Dunes

The desert was an experience we’d never forget. It started with a rush of adrenaline as our SUVs roared across the golden dunes. “This is better than any rollercoaster!” yelled one of the kids, holding on tightly as the car dipped and rose like a ship in stormy waters.

When we arrived at the Bedouin camp, the desert revealed its gentler side. Beneath a canopy of stars, we were treated to traditional dances, the rhythmic beat of drums filling the night. While the children were mesmerised by the falconry show, the adults found themselves drawn to the aromas of the barbecue feast, where every bite felt like a celebration.

There was a moment when I looked around the campfire, seeing our family spread out—some enjoying henna art, others relaxing on soft cushions, and the kids chasing each other across the sand. In that instant, I knew this wasn’t just a trip; it was a story we’d tell for years to come.

Luxury on Wheels

If the desert safari was a wild ride, then cruising through Dubai in a limousine was the epitome of sophistication. Not one, but two limo rides were arranged, making us feel like royalty. The kids pressed their faces to the tinted windows, thrilled at the sight of the city’s dazzling lights, while the grandparents chuckled at the novelty of such a grand gesture.

Moments like these reminded me of the care Thrillophilia took to make our journey special. Every small detail, from the hotel suggestions to the transportation, reflected their understanding of what makes a family trip extraordinary.

Moments That Defined Our Journey

The magic of Dubai and Abu Dhabi wasn’t just in the landmarks—it was in the moments we created together. At the Burj Khalifa, standing atop the world’s tallest tower, our youngest gazed out at the sparkling city below and exclaimed, “We’re in the clouds!” At the Miracle Garden, the vibrant floral arches seemed to wrap us in a world of colour and whimsy, inspiring even the quietest among us to pose for selfies.

On our visit to the Museum of the Future, the kids’ imaginations ran wild as they debated which futuristic inventions they’d use to conquer the world. Meanwhile, the adults marvelled at the artistry and technology on display, struck by how the future felt closer than ever.

Then, there was Global Village, a microcosm of cultures where we spent our final evening. Each pavilion was a new adventure, and the children darted between stalls, wide-eyed with wonder. We ended the night sampling delicacies from around the world, laughing over shared plates and stories.

A Heart Full of Gratitude

Behind every unforgettable moment was a trio of Thrillophilia heroes. Mr. Sharma, the operations expert, worked tirelessly behind the scenes, ensuring that everything ran like clockwork. “At any time, day or night, he picked up the phone and resolved any query without hesitation,” I noted in my review, deeply appreciative of his hard work.

As our journey came to an end and we boarded our flight back home, I couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude.

Thrillophilia brought our family closer in ways we couldn’t have imagined.

“To Mr Praduman, Mr Mrigendra, and Mr Sharma,” I wrote, “you’ve set a benchmark so high that all our future trips will be measured against it. Thank you for making this an experience of a lifetime.”
